Joel is an engineer by trade who has led over $100M in development work. He focuses on manufacturing efficiency from the ground up — building preventative maintenance programs that have cut downtime by 40%, and developing PLC systems and R&D projects that have increased capacity by as much as 80%. Having hired more than 250 people over his career, Joel brings a rare combination of deep technical engineering and the operational know-how to scale a business. If it's systems-based or growth-related, Joel is the one in the room who's done it before.
Outside of work, Joel is a dedicated traveler — he's made it to 48 of the 50 states and 42 of the 63 national parks, often on the road supporting his wife, a country music singer, at her shows.

Brey co-founded Do What Solutions to chase a single goal: help manufacturers work smarter, not harder. He loves solving the problems that hide behind the phrase "we've always done it this way." With a background blending advanced analytics, solutions architecture, process improvement, and AI transformation, Brey has spent his career turning plant-floor complexity into clarity — whether that's building a plant data analytics system from the ground up or telling a department's OEE story. His specialty is workflow automation efficiency in any process, and his superpower is making the impossible possible.
Outside of work, Brey's world runs on family adventures with his wife, Ciara, and their two energetic kids, Winry and Conan, who give him the purpose to stay driven and focused. He's an avid sports fan and spends his free time at Sacramento Kings games.
Analytics Engineer
Jared builds the layer most people never see: the ERP data model, the historian, the scripts moving numbers between them, and the screens the floor actually uses. He is equally at home deep in the data and standing in a plant watching an operator use the thing he built, which is usually where the real requirements turn up. When something breaks and nobody knows what to do next, he is the one who goes out there.
Outside of work, Jared plays disc golf and gets out most weekends when he can. The rest belongs to his family, his wife Liz, their three sons, and his mother. They hike, and they barbecue as often as anyone can justify.
